Advanced Drawing I
Course Description: Advanced Art is a new, fun class being offered this year for the first time and is a continuation of Basic Drawing I and II. The students will learn about the "art of seeing" based on various "keys to drawing." Lessons will include helpful concepts such as: restating, focusing, mapping and intensifying the student's artwork. This is achieved by conveying the illusions of light, depth and texture. Projects are designed to give the student the experience of a variety of "types" of drawings including quick "gestures," "thumbnail" sketches, sketchbook studies, plus full compositional drawings.

Drawing and Painting in English Or Kore
Course Description: Take this opportunity to explore the variety of drawing and oil painting techniques with color theory. Your art will develop, using traditional and non-traditional subject matter including still-life, landscape, figure and abstraction. This course allows you to develop your personal idea and concept as you create including your personal expressions and experiments. Additionally, you will investigate various approaches to a variety of modern and post-modern painting styles by combining materials, using alternative drawing and painting surfaces, and building collages. This course includes several projects that incorporate both drawing and painting to create them and include a still life a watercolor or acrylic painting a landscape and an oil-on-canvas painting. This course is taught in both English and Korean.
